Support

Word Batch is a cozy word puzzle: build words from a rack of letter tiles to fill your batch, then bank your Coins or push your luck for one more before the oven burns it. No countdown clock — the pressure is all yours.

Common questions

How do I play?
Tap letters on the rack to spell a word, then tap Bake Word to add it to your batch — longer words and a hotter oven score more. Each bake heats the oven, and a hot oven starts dropping Burnt tiles onto your rack. Let three Burnt tiles pile up at once and the batch burns, forfeiting whatever you haven't banked. At any point you can tap Serve Batch to lock in your points as Coins. Banking is always safe; pushing for one more word is the gamble.

What are Recipes, Tile Skins, and Boosts?
Coins earned from banked batches are spent in the Shop. Recipes are run modifiers you equip before a round (like a second chance after a burn, or a free rack refresh). Boosts are one-shot helpers you use mid-round (like cooling a Burnt tile or turning a tile into a wildcard). Tile Skins are purely cosmetic — cookies, gingerbread, frosted mint, and more.

What is Baker Level?
Every batch you bank adds to your lifetime points, which raise your Baker Level over time. It's shown on the menu and in Stats, and it has its own Game Center leaderboard.

I bought a Coin pack but my balance didn't update.
Force-quit and relaunch the app; your balance is saved locally and should reflect the purchase. If it still looks wrong, make sure Settings ▸ [your name] ▸ iCloud is signed in on the device where you made the purchase, and try again — App Store purchases can occasionally take a moment to finish processing.

Will I lose my Coins and purchases if I get a new phone?
No. As long as you're signed into the same iCloud account, your Coins, purchases, stats, and unlocks sync automatically and will be there on a new device or after reinstalling. You can also tap Settings ▸ Restore from iCloud in the app to pull them back manually.

Game Center isn't showing my scores.
Game Center is optional. Make sure you're signed in via iOS Settings ▸ Game Center, then relaunch Word Batch — leaderboard and achievement submissions happen automatically in the background once you're signed in.

Sound or haptics stopped working.
Check Settings inside the app — Sound Effects and Haptics each have their own toggle. If a toggle is on but still silent, make sure your device isn't in silent mode, then try force-quitting and relaunching the app.
